01 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Devansh Sharma on behalf of the TaskBoard Team, operating as TaskBoard, governing your access to and use of the platform at our website and associated pages.

By using the platform you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms along with our Privacy Policy.

02 Description of Service

TaskBoard provides:

• Task Management — View, track, and complete assignments created by the admin (teacher).
• Progress Tracking — Monitor completion status of assigned tasks over time.
• Mentorship Bookings — Browse and book one-on-one sessions with the teacher, free or paid.
• File Attachments — View task-related files uploaded by the admin.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

03 Eligibility

To use TaskBoard you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age. Users aged 13–18 require parental or guardian consent.
• Be a student enrolled under the admin/teacher, or otherwise granted access by the admin.
• Have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under Indian law.
• Not have been previously suspended or removed from TaskBoard for Terms violations.

04 Account Registration

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with anyone.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account access.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We may refuse registration or cancel accounts where we believe a Terms violation has occurred.

05 Payments & Fees

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed exclusively through Razorpay. TaskBoard does not store your payment credentials.
• A payment is complete only upon Razorpay confirmation, verified by our server-side signature check.
• You are responsible for any bank charges or transaction fees imposed by your financial institution.
• Payment exemptions (free access) may be granted by the admin at their discretion and are non-transferable.

06 Refund Policy

• Platform access fees — Non-refundable once access has been granted and content accessed.
• Mentorship — Cancellation by student (more than 36 hrs before) — Full refund within 14 business days.
• Mentorship — Cancellation by student (within 36 hrs) — Non-refundable.
• Mentorship — Cancellation by admin/teacher — Full refund within 5–7 business days.
• No-shows — No refund will be issued.
• Technical payment failures — Contact us within 7 days with your Razorpay Payment ID and we will resolve it.

To request a refund, email us (Section 15) with your booking ID and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days via original payment method.

07 Mentorship Sessions

• Only book sessions you genuinely intend to attend.
• Session details are confirmed via email after booking. You are responsible for joining on time.
• You may not share your session access or meeting link with others.
• We reserve the right to reschedule with at least 12 hours' notice; a full reschedule or refund will be offered.
• Recording sessions without mutual consent from both parties is prohibited.
• Misuse, inappropriate behaviour, or harassment results in immediate session termination without refund and possible account suspension.

08 Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or other user accounts.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform.
• Share account credentials or allow others to use your account.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Circumvent or exploit the payment system to gain paid access without payment.
• Use automated tools or bots to scrape or interact with the platform.
• Impersonate any person including the admin, or misrepresent your identity.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice or refund.

09 Intellectual Property

All content on TaskBoard — tasks, study materials, attachments, design, code, and branding — is the intellectual property of Devansh Sharma or licensed for use on the platform.

• You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the platform for personal educational use only.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any platform content without express written permission.
• Sharing task materials or session content outside the platform for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

10 Disclaimer of Warranties

TaskBoard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties including that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

We make no guarantee regarding educational outcomes, exam results, or academic performance from using TaskBoard or attending mentorship sessions.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Devansh Sharma and TaskBoard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct, as required by Indian law.

12 Termination

• By you — Delete your account anytime by contacting us. Access ceases immediately.
• By us — We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or if required by law.

Sections 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination. We are not obligated to provide refunds upon termination for cause.

13 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first be addressed through direct contact (Section 15). If unresolved within 30 days, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.

For disputes up to ₹1,00,000 you may also file a complaint with the relevant Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via the updated date on this page and by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the platform and request account deletion.

Legal notices must be sent by email and are considered received the next business day. We aim to respond within 10 business days.
